In 2001, Hydro Research started its activities by importing fish and livestock from Brazil, Singapore and Egypt for freshwater aquariums. Over time, Hydro Research has also started to manufacture marine aquariums, reef aquariums, freshwater aquariums, aquarium sets, lobster aquariums and scientific cooling aquariums.

In 2009, it added the electro shock device to its imported products and continued its activities by offering it to university researchers.

Since early 2011, it has been responding to the needs of research teams and faculties by providing all kinds of materials used in hydro research.
